Originally from Moreno Valley, Ca but now resides in Phoenix Az. He started dancing at age 17 at his church for the dance ministry “Step it Up”. He was then given the opportunity to sub classes at his home studio in Moreno valley Ca, and then went on to be on staff at age of 18 with barely a year under his belt. Chris trained under highly respected and innovated choreographers throughout the LA county, gaining respect as both a dancer and a young choreographer. After 3 years of competing, Chris turned professional, teaching and choreographing all over Southern California and auditioning with the dance agency MSA. He joined the dance crew “Elektrolytes” and went on to compete and win MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew season 7. Chris has appeared in a number of national music videos, commercials, and industrials all over the world. His credits include, Randy Jackson’s  America’s Best Dance Crew Season 7 (Champions) and Season 8,  So You Think You Can Dance Season 10, Disney’s Shake It Up, Globoforce, Shout!, Ever After: The Story of Jack & Jill, Riotkidz Clothing, Eden XO, Tilted Kilt, SPDR Golf, THQ, Shut up Stella, He and I, L-Ray, Pearl Drops, Vee Quiva Casino, Casion Del Sol, Sadler’s Wells Flash Mob Tour U.K, The 13th Annual Latin Grammy, A License to Thrill Lagos Nigeria, and Arizona’s very own, Yasmeen. Chris now directs, writes, and choreographs his own Dance Musicals, an endeavor he plans to take nationwide. He also co-owns a new urban clothing line called RiotKidz. Chris has developed a style of dance that he believes to be unique and diverse. The goal for any dancer works with Chris is simple…to see a dancer go above and beyond what they think they are capable of and to exceed their potential.

We Are DR.

Dance Republic strives to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. Our goal is to assist them in achieving their greatest potential in life through instilling a passion for dance and a determination to succeed. We embrace the challenge of a positive approach in teaching to develop confident, successful, and valuable individuals who in turn will be inspired to improve our community by bringing dance to life.

What They Say

We have been with Dance Republic since the beginning and it has been the best. From the moment the studio opened we have felt right at home. Dance Republic’s atmosphere is a true family and is constantly pouring its love into each student. We have grown a strong relationship with everyone there. The support that April and Jason have given us is tremendous. Along with dancing we were able to teach and assist for a few years and we loved it. The journey that we have taken to get ourselves where we are today has come from the inspiration and motivation of Dance Republic’s tight community. We have both become dancers for the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland, in the Pixar Play Parade. We love what we do and we could not have gotten there without Dance Republic. We will always feel apart of Dance Republic’s family!Taylor & Hailey B

I signed my daughter up at Dance Republic 3 years ago.  From the moment we've walked through those doors we have felt nothing but love, support & a true family feel throughout the studio! My daughter loves all her teachers & staff!  Dance Republic wants to see the kids thrive and grow and inspires the Kids to Dream Big!  I love everything they do for all these amazing dancers.  They make it a fun environment for the kids to be around.  The instructors really get to know each dancer and see their strengths and weaknesses and works with them, so they feel confident every time they perform.  The instructors are experienced & professional.  The owners and staff are always kind and available for whatever questions or concerns you might have.  My daughter has been dancing since she could walk & now her love for dance has grown and she wants to one day be able to teach dance when she gets older as well.  My daughter loves that Dance Republic pairs the younger girls with an older dancer who they call their "Big Sister" & and they look up to them and have that extra love and support! Dance Republic is not just the dance studio where my daughter goes, they are apart of our lives/family!

We have been a part of the Dance Republic family for 5 years now and have enjoyed every aspect available. Started with the mommy and me, then moved to the toddler classes, progressed from there to the older classes and we haven't looked back since. We have two girls in the program, and have had a son dance with the studios hip hop group the Drones. Every part of the studio is exactly what you would want for your kids. Our girls have been taught at a young age to be little ladies, as they have progressed we have seen their confidence grow and their excitement for creativity and movement be nurtured. We have had our two older kids compete in Arizona and travel to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Universal Studios. It is here they really began to grow as they worked hard to perfect, learn, and have fun.  The studio is a family. The teachers encourage hard work, kindness, and love. The owners want only the best for the kids and that is felt in the environment created at the studio from the moment you walk in. I will encourage all to attend. And have brought many of my friends to this group as a result the excitement experienced by our children.
